At Salix Group, we are committed to always acting with integrity and doing the right thing. Our group-wide Code of Conduct describes the shared values, principles, and standards that guide us in our daily work – regardless of role, company, or country. It is a central part of how we build long-term, successful, responsible, and sustainable businesses. Below is a summary of our Code of Conduct.
Our Values
The way we work and make decisions is based on four core values: Trust, Simplicity, Diversity, and Excellence. This means that we act with respect and a long-term perspective, work transparently and in a business-minded way, value different perspectives, and continuously strive for improvement, quality, and customer value.
Good Business Ethics
We have zero tolerance for corruption, bribery, discrimination, harassment, and other unethical behavior. All business decisions must be made objectively, in compliance with applicable laws, and with high ethical standards. Confidential information is protected, and we expect responsible conduct in all business relationships.
Human Rights, Working Conditions & Inclusion
Salix Group respects and promotes internationally recognized human rights throughout our value chain. We are guided by principles and frameworks from the UN, ILO, and OECD, and we expect our business partners to share these fundamental values.
We do not accept child labor, forced labor, or any form of involuntary work. Nor do we accept violations of freedom of association. All individuals should be treated with dignity and respect, and we promote fair working conditions and safe working environments wherever we operate.
We strive for gender equality and diversity and aim to be an inclusive employer that reflects society at large. Everyone should have equal opportunities regardless of gender, gender identity, age, ethnicity, religion, disability, or sexual orientation. Discrimination, harassment, and abusive conduct are not tolerated.
Environment, Climate & Sustainable Development
We take responsibility for our environmental and climate impact and continuously work to reduce emissions, improve resource efficiency, and develop more sustainable products and solutions. Small, continuous improvements are an important part of our sustainability efforts.
Reporting Concerns
Employees are encouraged to report suspected violations of the Code of Conduct. There is an option to report anonymously through our whistleblowing function, and no retaliation is accepted against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
